  Decided to try a change from our regular sushi, which is Sushi California, and were sorry we did. Basically we waited for a half hour before we got our first dish, then had to wait another 15 minutes before the rest came. While we were there, 2 groups of people left because they had been waiting over 1 hour for their food.
  As for the food itself, in my opinion the food was good, fresh -- and the portions were decent, however, that said -- it was NOT better than Sushi California or Sushi Town, in quality or quantity, in my opinion.
  Observing, we noted that the 2 chefs were scrambling to get take out orders prepared, which seemed to take priority over the seated customers. Simply put, there were not enough chefs and waitresses to handle the numbers of customers - takeout and in house.
  I would suggest they go straight TAKE OUT, they'd likely do well, and people wouldn't be frustrated by the service as guests in the restaurant.

  Food is pretty decent. Nothing I would say is super special! We did a group of 12 adult. Order came out a few things were missing! But overall pretty solid. If your looking for a chill place and super easy going staff this is the place!

  I've searched high and low - literally 20 or more restaurants - for a spicy tuna combo that includes a sufficient amount of spicy tuna sashimi for less then $10. A search that has driven my wife to madness. This IS the place that has finally satiated me. The only comparable location is Sushi Garden in Burnaby. It's delicious and spicy and makes me drool with happiness and spice levels.
  
  Dear sushi and roll I beg you to please never change the spicy tuna combo.
  
  Note: We've only had take out from Sushi & Roll. The take out - even on a busy Friday - has always been on time and the servers are really nice from what I could tell. That's all beside the point though: Spicy Tuna Combo. Do it. Do it now.

  Their deep fried sushi is pretty unique I think. Burning Cheese is a MUST-TRY! My bf likes their tariyaki a lot. It comes with steel plate, which would be still boiling and makes it taste way better.
  They have another restaruant in Surrey Central. It is so popular that people always have to line up. That`s why we drive here from New West. Can`t be satisfied with other sushi place after eating here. Highly recommend!
